Founded in 2020 by Colombian entrepreneur Karen Prado and South African food lover Jacques Groenewald, Chimi Love was born from a shared passion for authentic, plant-based South American flavours. In January 2024, Chimi Love officially began its journey toward B Corp certification—a globally recognised standard for measuring social and environmental impact, transparency, and accountability.
The brand also partners with JUST ONE TREE, planting at least 50 trees every month in reforestation projects across South America, including Argentina, Brazil, Peru, and the Andes. The initiative goes further by supporting the regeneration of kelp forests—an essential but often overlooked part of the fight against climate change.
